St. Bonaventure is the latest school (literally) to appear on Syracuse's schedule, slated for a Dec. 22 tip-off.

Syracuse will play St. Bonaventure in the Carrier Dome on Dec. 22, SU Athletics announced in a press release on Wednesday afternoon.

This will be the second meeting in three seasons for the two schools, and Syracuse has a 24-3 all-time advantage in the series. Syracuse has won 14 straight games against St. Bonaventure, including the last contest in 2015, when Michael Gbinije’s 23 points, Tyler Roberson’s 12 rebounds led the Orange to a 79-66 victory. The Bonnies last beat the Orange in January 1981.

St. Bonaventure finished 20-12 overall last season, including an 11-7 mark in the Atlantic 10 Conference. It was the Bonnies’ second-consecutive 20-win season under 10-year head coach Mark Schmidt. SBU returns four of five starters from last season’s team, including the explosive guard Jaylen Adams. The senior averaged 20.6 points per game and tested the NBA Draft waters before returning to school.

Here’s the rest of the Orange’s nonconference schedule:

Friday, Nov. 10: Cornell

Friday/Saturday, Nov. 17/18: Texas Southern

Monday, Nov. 20: Oakland

Wednesday, Nov. 22: Toledo

Saturday, Dec. 2: Kansas (at American Airlines Arena, in Miami)

Tuesday, Dec. 5: Connecticut (at Madison Square Garden)

Tuesday, Dec. 19: Buffalo

Friday, Dec. 22: St. Bonaventure
